Boujaad Moroccan rug, vintage berber rug, area rug Boujaad

Boujad rug or boujaad rug are woven at the edge of the Middle Atlas mountains and made of natural  wool, often decorated with naturally dyed wool.

Moroccan rug tends to feature pink, red, orange... with irregular geometric patterns and designs that reflect the whim of the weaver.

Boujad rugs are a really wonderful piece of 'folk' art that tells a tale of the lives for the women who make them.

This rug is Moroccan, Berber, natural, vintage, handmade with natural wool. Durable carpet thanks to the incredible skills of the weaver. It has low to medium piles.

In good vintage conditions. As vintage can vary in age, please be aware that vintage items may have previously be use and may show some signs of use and there is few repaired holes (see the three last photos) .
